Impulsado por los sintetizadores de Dave Ball, y la voz de su l\u00edder Marc Almond, vienen de vuelta con letras dram\u00e1ticas: \u00a0\u201cSolo otra alma perdida en la ciudad de la noche\u201d, canta. \u00abNo tengo dinero ni nada para vender excepto mi alma ahora \/ Pero el dolor me recuerda que todav\u00eda estoy vivo para la pelea\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>En un comunicado, Almond describi\u00f3 la pista como <em>\u00abuna historia de Soft Cell de mini cine negro sobre un personaje desilusionado con todo en su contra que todav\u00eda tiene la esperanza de un futuro mejor, a pesar de las probabilidades\u00bb y agreg\u00f3 que se inspir\u00f3 en el \u00abominoso\u00bb trabajo de Ball, as\u00ed como en sus \u00abacordes desafiantes y contundentes\u00bb.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Aunque<strong> \u00abBruises on my illusions\u00bb<\/strong> se anuncia como el primer sencillo oficial del pr\u00f3ximo \u00e1lbum, Soft Cell revel\u00f3 una pista teaser titulada<strong> \u00abHeart like Chernobyl\u00bb<\/strong> en agosto pasado. Almond explic\u00f3 anteriormente que este nuevo trabajo es \u00abuna cr\u00edtica a la sociedad\u00bb que incluye \u00abciencia ficci\u00f3n para el siglo XXI\u00bb.
